GENERAL INFORMATION

The Center For Endoscopy (CFE) is a freestanding outpatient ambulatory surgery center (ASC) specializing in Endoscopy.  This is an alternative to the hospital when undergoing endoscopic procedures. It was the first state licensed, Medicare certified ASC for Endscopy in California.  After extensive planning and construction, the 5,000 sq. ft. facility opened in July of 1991.  The facility is physician owned and specializes in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

The facility is licensed by the State of California Department of Health Services and is a contracted provider for Medicare and MediCal.  It is also accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

It is our mission to maintain a standard of excellence whereby our physicians, nurses, and staff consistently deliver optimal healthcare.

The facility is conveniently located adjacent to the North County Gastroenterology office and is walking distance from Tri-City Medical Center.
